At Wyndley Grange we understand that everyone’s situation is different and often it is time sensitive. If you choose Wyndley Grange we can help you through this difficult time and make the transition to the home as happy and stress free as possible.
We pride ourselves in providing excellent care for people with any age related illnesses including Dementia (such as Vascular Dementia or Alzheimer’s). If you are looking for a place for your relative or friend we would recommend you contact us for a viewing and this will enable us to discuss your requirements in more detail. A pre-admission assessment is always carried out.
The highest priority for the management and staff team at Wyndley Grange is to give the residents the best lives that they can possibly live. The home benefits from the service of a loyal and dedicated team, which has delivered consistently excellent care through many years of continuous service.
Care planning is person centered and is regularly reviewed with the individual residents and their relatives. Wyndley Grange enjoys an excellent relationship with the local community, the GP, chiropodist and other health and social care professionals to ensure the residents receive the care when they need it.
Wyndley Grange has a dedicated activities organiser who encourages residents to participate in ‘Home life’ activities. We ensure they are varied and involve all of the residents at various times. The residents choose their own activities they would like, via the “Residents Comittee” that meet to discuss any matters relating to them or the other residents. We have regular activities including a visiting manicurist, birds of prey show and visiting choir to mention but a few.
At Wyndley Grange we specialise in end of life care. Our nursing staff levels and nursing expertise enable us to offer intense nursing care. We will personalise the daily care plan to accommodate for all terminal illnesses including dementia. Staff attend regular updating and training to follow the Gold Standard Framework in end of life care.
As a relative or friend you will have the opportunity to contribute to your loved ones daily activities; likes and dislikes and how and where they wish to be cared for in their last days in a comfortable pain free and dignified manner.
